Vital Signs 2: Sex in a Southern City — Synopsis
Shirley Daniels-----Joanna Watson's fellow nurse and romantic rival in the original Vital Signs---has been forced to leave Statesville following her scandalous involvement in a fraud scheme against Joanna and Harlan Wilkinson orchestrated by Joanna's ex-husband Bob. Shirley managed to escape prosecution, but at the cost of her job and good name. And her ailing parents have both recently died, leaving her no reason to stay in Statesville any more. So Shirley leaves Statesville behind and heads off to a new job at a big-city hospital----University Hospital in Raleigh. Once there, she gets into all sorts of new sexual adventures, and manages to ruffle more than a few feathers among the nursing staff there. And despite all her best efforts to remain a swinging, carefree single gal, Shirley soon finds herself enamored with University Hospital's chief anesthesiologist, Dr. Randall Hamm. Only problem is, Dr. Hamm doesn't seem to return Shirley's affections. What's a girl to do? Get it on, of course!romance
