Turn up the heat! Global climate change is driving the human race toward extinction. But that's good news for the ancient Illuminoids who have dwelt for eons deep in the Earth, waiting to reclaim the planet they originally dominated.
Byx is a renegade Illuminoid, living disguised among the humans and indulging his carnal whims. When he falls in love with a human playwright, however, matters become complicated. Val Lucien's latest hit play means little to him as he falls under the spell of this mysterious lustful creature.
