The Brotherhood Prequel — Synopsis
Alexandra Russell, a quiet and independent child is given an IQ test and goes from adorable to brilliant in one swoop- which does nothing for her social development. She finds herself in classrooms with kids twice her age, which also does not help and she retreats to the world of vampires for comfort.Fast forward to Alex at eighteen, determined to go to college (again) this time with the intention of mingling with her peers, but she still finds herself ostracized- except for a small group of equally backward students and a rather mysterious man who almost never speaks.
The most popular girl on campus approaches Alexandra and invites her to a party, much to Alex's surprise. Determined to break out of her nerd shell and to lose her virginity, Alexandra goes to the party. As soon as she arrives, she is led to a darkened library where a shadowed male figure is waiting for her. Swept up in the excitement and the danger of the moment, the man seduces the young genius- intent on not only taking her maidenhead, but to take her soul as well. For Alex is not in the arms of just a random man, she is about to fall victim to a vampire who wants to claim her as his Queen and rule beside her as she ascends to the top of his clan, The Darkness. Luckily for Alexandra, someone else is there in that darkened room, and her mysterious study partner saves her before she loses either of her most precious gifts. But, in saving her, is the quiet man about to lose a whole lot more?
