SQUEEE!!!!!!!
2009.02.07 00:56:53

'Squee,' btw, is sister to 'Woot!'  Both are expressions indicating extreme happiness, usually generated by something really good happening.  Well, I got the cover for my new book RIPPING THE BODICE today...and the marvelous Michelle has put it up on the Ravenous site for me so now, instead of my pink SUCCUBUSTED cover (not that I wasn't fond of it, mind you!), I have my RtB cover, which should be right next to this post.

Yup.  There it is.  Note the cover of the book the heroine is reading.  Anyone recognize it? I hope Keta does...  :-)

I am doing a happy dance about now...I am, however, doing it at work, so I'd better make this post brief.  More on Ripping the Bodice this evening!  I promised you sordid details and I will keep that promise!  I will just mention that it's up on RR tomorrow!

This is me...doing the happy dance.  SQUEEEE!!!! happy-dance

Keta Diablo
Welcome Readers and Friends
2009.01.16 15:28:53
I’m Keta Diablo and thrilled that Land of Falling Stars was chosen by Ravenous Romance for publication. I fell in love with my cover the moment I saw it. It depicts the story of Gavin and Sophia perfectly.

Many have asked how I came up with the title so I’m about to tell you . .

Before the Civil War, before Yankees stormed Sophia’s beloved childhood home, Arbor Rose, she lived an idyllic childhood. I guess we could say she was pampered, coddled and yes, spoiled. And as a child, she loved to pretend that she and her two best friends, Jesse and Gavin, lived under the Land of Falling Stars, a magical, mystical place where the only thing they had to worry about was whether to dress up as pirates for the day or race steeds across her father’s fields. But then the war came and changed all that and nothing will ever be the same for Sophia again.

Now, one of her friends has returned from the war, but he carries secrets to horrific to imagine. When Sophia discovers it, her world is torn apart.
