In my SEXSTROLOGY series, each book tells a fresh, original story. You don’t need to read the other books to find out what is going on.

However, there are some common threads that link the books for those people that enjoy series.

The books all take place in a little town called Hermana. This is a witchy little town just outside of Boston, much like Salem, but not!

The 12 women in the 2008 -2009 series all meet for a “circle” at some point in each book. They cast love spells under the guidance of Lucy, a descendent of the witches that originally forged the town.

In the circle, a love spell is cast for the lady whose birthday falls in that month. To increase the power of the spell, the lady needs to have her astrological charts cast by Gwen the Gemini and her home feng shuied by Ellie the Cancer.

Anyone can increase his or her “love vibrations.” You can call it The Secret, wish-craft, witch-craft, whatever you like. I call it The Law of Attraction.

Whatever you put out into the world will come back to you three times over.

So it really behooves you to put out your best and happiest vibes whenever possible.

When it comes to love spells, I don’t believe in casting a spell on a particular person. This would take away his or her free will and when you consider the Law of Attraction, you really don’t need that kind of karma.

What you CAN do, is on a Friday night, the luckiest day for love spells, is light a pink candle and ask the universe for the giving and receiving of unconditional love.

The most important thing you need to have is an Open Heart and Open Mind. This means getting rid of preconceived notions of what you want and expect in a mate. It also doesn't mean that you have to go out with any loser that asks you out either. But, it does mean being Open Minded and not too quick to judge those that are different from you. As an Aquarius, this was very hard for me to do after my first marriage died, but I eventually worked through my lists and judgements and able to open up my heart and mind to men that are good and kind and not necessarily the "type" of guy I had always seen for myself. I married a man that I would never have dated when I still had my "list."

You can wear a small piece of rose quartz in your bra or pocket to attract love vibrations.

Clear the clutter out of your “love corner” which is the southwest corner and fill it with pictures of happy couples, a pair of mandarin ducks and a pair of pink candles.

Remove scary photos and paintings from your bedroom.

Cover up your mirror if it is at the foot of your bed.

Try not to have a TV in the bedroom, although I have to admit, I can’t do it myself. Between husbands, I covered it up when I wasn’t watching it, hoping to activate my auspicious energy. Obviously it worked, as I just got married in May 2008.

Real plants in your bedroom aren’t a good idea when you’re in a romance rut. Get them out and put them in the money corner (southeast) of your living room.
